Who will I be in 5 years?
Where there is no vision, the people perish: but he that keeps the law, happy is he.
Who is God calling us to be and how do we live it out over the next 5 years?
Put your past, pain, and sin in its place.
Refuse to drag your pain, your past, and your sin, into your future.
4 Layers of Sin:
Gross Sins
Conscious Sins
Unconscious Sins
Trust Structures
Don’t run away, run toward Jesus.
Refuse and replace.
Do the work.
Dealing with your pain, your past, and your sin is not going to be easy but there is hope and it is worth it!

Vision for the Future:
Proverbs 29:18 speaks about the importance of having vision. How does having a clear, God-inspired vision shape who you want to become in the next five years?
Dealing with the Past:
Hebrews 12:1 encourages us to “strip off every weight that slows us down.” What pain, past experiences, or sins might be weighing you down? How can you begin to address these areas in community and prayer?
The Layers of Sin:
Reflect on the four layers of sin (gross, conscious, unconscious, and trust structures). Which of these resonates with you as an area God might be calling you to examine and address?
Running Toward Jesus:
Hebrews 12:2 calls us to keep our eyes on Jesus as we run the race of faith. What practical ways can you “run toward Jesus” in 2025? Are there habits, disciplines, or relationships that need to change to help you stay focused on Him?

How can your group support one another in leaving the past behind and striving toward the heavenly prize? What specific steps can the group take to foster accountability and encouragement to be who God has called you to be in the next 5 years?
