Week 3: Intentional Neighboring
October 2 & 5
If nobody goes, nobody hears. If nobody hears, nobody believes. If nobody believes, nobody is saved.
Euangelion = “good news”
“as we go,” we are to be about “bringing the good news”
We have to shift our thinking from a backyard mindset to a front yard mindset.
How can I be an intentional good neighbor?
Be interruptible. Jesus saw people, not as obstacles, but as opportunities.
Be hospitable.
Be on purpose.
Be persistent.

[d]Group questions
Read Romans 10:14-15 as a group.
Romans 10:14–15 lays out a clear chain: no going → no hearing → no believing → no saving. Where do you personally find it hardest to step into that chain? How can our group encourage each other in that step?
We mentioned moving from a “backyard mindset” (private, hidden, safe) to a “front yard mindset” (present, open, available). What does that shift look like in your stage of life, workplace, or neighborhood?
Jesus often did some of His greatest ministry in the “interruptions.” Can you share a time when what felt like an interruption turned into an opportunity to love or share the gospel?
Of the four challenges…interruptible, hospitable, on purpose, persistent…which one do you feel most drawn to practice this week? Which one will stretch you the most, and why?
Prayer Prompts
Pray for courage and presence:
Ask God to open your eyes to the people He has already placed around you and give you the courage to step into intentional conversations and relationships this week.Pray for your neighbors by name:
Lift up the people who live, work, or study near you. Ask that your words and actions would be a reflection of the true Good News—Jesus Christ—and that God would draw them closer to Himself.
