[d]Group Questions

  1. Panic vs. Trust – In Exodus 14:10-12, the Israelites panicked despite witnessing God’s miracles. Can you recall a time when fear overshadowed your trust in God? How did you respond, and what can we learn from the Israelites’ reaction?

  2. The Tension Between Waiting and Moving – Moses told the people to be still, but God told them to move (Exodus 14:13-15). How do you discern whether God is calling you to wait or to take action in your current season of life?

  3. God Can vs. God Will – Many believe that God can move, but struggle with trusting that He will. What are some barriers that keep us from fully surrendering to God’s will? How can we grow in trusting His heart?

  4. Walking Through the Red Sea Moments – The Israelites had to step onto the dry ground between walls of water, which must have been terrifying. Have you ever experienced a moment when you had to step out in faith despite uncertainty? What happened, and how did it impact your faith journey?

  5. Faith in Action – Read Hebrews 11:1. What step of faith is God calling you to take right now, even if you can't see the outcome?
