Week 3: Know How to Fight
October 22 & 25, 2026
We fight from victory, not for victory
The primary instruction is to stand…to not allow the enemy to move you away from Jesus
Our authority comes from belonging to Jesus and acting under His authority
The greatest thing about belonging to Jesus is that we belong to Jesus
The armor that belongs to God is now our armor in Jesus Christ
The Armor of God
The belt of truth (Isaiah 11:5)
The body armor of God’s righteousness (Isaiah 59:17)
Shoes of peace that come from the Good News (Isaiah 52:7)
The shield of faith (Psalm 18:2)
Salvation as a helmet (Isaiah 59:17)
The sword of the Spirit, which is the Word of God (Isaiah 49:2; 11:4; 59:21)
Prayer should be our first response because we know where our strength comes from
