[d]Group questions

  1. Read Mark 12:29–31 and Psalm 139:13-16 as a group.

  2. For you personally, what part of your physical life—movement, rest, eating, or sexuality—feels hardest to surrender to God? Why do you think that is?

  3. After reading Psalm 139:13–16. What do you think it means that your body is “fearfully and wonderfully made”? Why does it matter?

  4. How do you think Jesus’ physical resurrection changes how we view our own physical bodies?

  5. What difference does it make that our future isn’t floating spirits, but resurrected, restored bodies?

  6. Read Romans 12:1. What’s one practical way you could worship God with your body this week? Something physical—movement, rest, food, touch, words, service—what’s your next step?
