Children

Our children's programs run simultaneously with our adult programs on Sunday and Wednesday.

The Children's Ministry of Southern Hills Christian Church exists to:

• Raise up a generation of children who are spiritual champions for Jesus
• Partner with parents in the development of a child’s personal relationship with Jesus
• Create a secure and fun environment that enables children to grow in their relationship with Jesus through worship and teaching
• Build a community of adult volunteers and children where safe and meaningful relationships are developed

(For the safety of our children and volunteers, every children’s ministry volunteer has gone through an application process that includes a full background check and reference check.)

Students

We want 6th-12th grade students at Southern Hills to know God and to understand who God made them to be. As part of our ministry, we hope that they will develop hearts of compassion and a longing to know God and serve others.

We want to help students live the best kind of lives for God. Fusion meets on Wednesday nights from 5:50 to 7:30 to eat, worship, hear teachings and hang out.

Small groups meet on Sunday mornings (middle school at 9:15 and high school at 11:00 am) Small groups are made up of 6-10 students and 1 - 2 leaders. During small groups students hang out with their leaders, study the Bible and discuss important topics.

Adults

We offer three ways for adults to fellowship with others, grow in Biblical wisdom & knowledge, and develop a deeper walk with the Lord Jesus Christ.

WORSHIP CELEBRATION (Sundays)

A creative and contemporary expression of worship with positive and practical messages from the Word of God that challenge us to a relationship with God & others. Our Worship Celebration times are 9:15 and 11:00.

Join us at The Journey here on our campus on Wednesday nights from 6:00 – 7:30 p.m. This is a great time to get to know one another on a personal level as well as to grow in our understanding of the Bible.

SMALL GROUPS (Various days & times)

A gathering of 6 to 12 people who “do life together” and share a common goal of growing in their walk with God. These groups exist to develop healthy relationships grounded in God's Word - in an atmosphere of love and care—to draw others to Christ.
